Sun City Naftalan Sanatorium
Sun City Naftalan Sanatorium
The modern wellness sanatorium Sun City is located in the world-famous resort of Naftalan. The town of Naftalan is renowned for its unique Naftalan oil deposit, whose healing properties can treat a wide variety of ailments.
Sun City Naftalan allows guests to combine pleasure with health benefits, offering both relaxation and medical wellness.
The five-story sanatorium building houses 96 rooms: 61 Superior rooms, 24 Delux Queen rooms, 4 Triple rooms, and 7 Family suites. All rooms are designed for comfortable living and restful stays. Furniture and beds are made from environmentally friendly materials. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV, telephone, household appliances, and a minibar. Each guest receives bathrobes, towels, disposable slippers, body care accessories, and hygiene products. An extra bed can be added upon request.
The medical center at Sun City Naftalan is equipped with modern medical equipment. Experienced specialists monitor the health of patients and are ready to provide necessary medical assistance at any time. The core of the treatment is the use of therapeutic Naftalan oil. The sanatorium offers a wide range of wellness procedures that effectively treat skin conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, and ENT diseases. Treatment programs are also suitable for patients with cardiovascular and nervous system issues, as well as urological and gynecological problems.
The first step in treatment is a consultation with a therapist and specialists of various profiles. If necessary, patients undergo tests. After a comprehensive examination and diagnosis, each patient receives an individual wellness program, which may include Naftalan oil baths, physiotherapy, massages, and spa treatments.
The physiotherapy department offers procedures such as paraffin applications, electrophoresis, phonophoresis, magnetotherapy, hirudotherapy, darsonval, inhalations, Sollux therapy, and more.
Paid services include laboratory tests, cosmetic, urological, gynecological, and dermatological procedures, ozone and laser therapy, traction, and various types of massage.
The hotel operates a buffet-style dining hall with three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can enjoy a variety of Azerbaijani, Turkish, and European dishes. A special diet menu is available for guests with gastrointestinal issues, prepared by a dietitian according to the patient’s diagnosis. Fruit baskets can be ordered to the room in the evening.
The sanatorium also features a Caucasian cuisine restaurant, serving various types of kebabs (lamb, beef, fish, vegetables, and mushrooms), salads, and appetizers. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the restaurant.
Every guest can find entertainment at Sun City. The hotel has a spa section with its own pool. A Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, and a Dead Sea salt room help rejuvenate the body, restore energy, and strengthen immunity. For guests who cannot use saunas or baths, a “cedar barrel” procedure is available, which detoxifies and revitalizes the body.
The well-maintained green park on the hotel grounds is another highlight. Active guests can play football or volleyball on the sports field or work out in the gym.
Special attention is given to younger guests. They can play on the playground or in the kids’ club, where nannies supervise them. Animators are available to entertain children and organize fun events. Both children and adults can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool.
On Sundays, guests can take walks to explore the beautiful nearby areas of Azerbaijan.
Sun City Naftalan welcomes everyone seeking unforgettable experiences, relaxing stays, and effective wellness treatment.
